Race truck set-up & motorsport marketing in the UK

Impressive transformation of Janes Trucksport

After a one-year break, Oliver Janes re-entered the BTRA Truck Racing Championship with the aim to become one of the top competitors. Without losing track of this goal, he and his highly motivated and focused team worked themselves systematically through the previous action-packed events to be able to achieve what they showed in the last weekend´s sixth round of the championship at Silverstone!

Everyone on site was amazed when they realised under which remarkable new manner Janes Trucksport presents itself in the paddock. With a new build, high-class race trailer, a new tent and a new created hospitality area for its partners and clients, the team has clearly visible moved away from a basic team set-up.

It´s been many years since the last truck race event was hold. It was benefiting everybody that they had the chance to discover the new territory in with two training sessions on Friday afternoon. It definitely payed off for Oly, it was enjoyable to watch how quickly he adapted his driving style to the new track and how good the team was working together to find the best possible set-up for his Freightliner race truck. Even though the pressure on Oly was higher than ever before due to the numerous invited partners, he showed an exceptional performance in the 2 races on Saturday and 4 races on Sunday.

All Briarwood and Silvey guests who joined the Janes Trucksport team at the weekend witnessed how he managed to reach up to the very front with some nice defence and overtaking manoeuvres. He ranked in all races amongst the top 10, including a fantastic 4th place! This proofs that the team is on the right way!

In six weeks the BTRA Truck Racing Championship will go into the next round, taking place at Snetterton on the 19th and 20th of September.
